FAQ
Tap New on the home screen, enter both team names, choose your match format (number of Foursomes, Greensomes, Four-Ball and Singles), then tap Create match. You'll receive a 6-character session code to share with your teammates.
Tap Join on the home screen and enter the 6-character code shared by the captain. They will immediately see all matches and scores in real time.
Open MatchPlay Counter on your Apple Watch, enter the same session code as the iPhone. You can then view all match scores and tap to enter hole results directly from your wrist.
Your session is saved automatically. Tap Resume on the home screen to reconnect to your ongoing match. All scores are stored securely in the cloud.
Yes — open any match card and tap Undo last hole at the bottom. This removes the last entered result and syncs the change across all connected devices.
Yes, an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) is required for real-time synchronization between devices. The app uses Firebase to keep all scores in sync instantly.
Yes, MatchPlay Counter is completely free to download and use. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no ads.

Privacy
MatchPlay Counter does not collect any personal data. No account or registration is required to use the app.
Match session data (team names, scores, hole results) is stored temporarily in Firebase Realtime Database solely to enable real-time synchronization between devices. This data is not linked to any personal identity.
No data is shared with third parties. No analytics or tracking tools are used.
